Warren Township Fire Department (WTFD) is a municipality operated fire department that provides primary 9-1-1 emergency response to the residents of Warren Township, OH. The fire department was founded in 1941 and provides fire suppression, emergency medical services and transport, rescue services and limited hazardous materials mitigation. WTFD also provides funding and training for continuing education for first responders and training open to the public. The township of Warren provides the residents of Leavittsburg, and the surrounding area, with clean drinking water available at the west market street fire station. WTFD operates out of 3 fire stations, has 13 apparatus, and over 30 employees. WTFD is structured with a full time fire chief, 24/7 staffed duty crew at the west market street station, and paid per call volunteers at all 3 stations. WTFD will provide mutual aid response to all surrounding areas, if the need is requested.
